I began writing as a child. Journaling provided a way to process. I later graduated to other forms of art such as music, painting, and drawing. Throughout the years, I have maintained the desire for expression. Writing felt as if I was returning to the source. I traveled west to Colorado to study Creative Writing and Journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder as a dual major. I am a Graduate of Colorado University at Boulder with a BA in Journalism with High Distinction; and a BA in Creative Writing with Summa Cum Laude.

           I began life in Virginia, moving to Illinois as a teenager and spending summers in southern California. I attended school in Illinois and Saint Louis. I spent time in the military as an infantryman and as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. During that time, I lived in (or worked) in California, Florida, Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Missouri, Washington D.C., etc. Very well traveled within the Continental United States. My bloodhound and I currently reside in Virginia. Some of our favorite things are: Shakespeare, Victorian Literature, gaming, dead things, witchy things, walks in the middle of the night, strange smells, long car rides, birds, weird diseases, and cyberpunk things…I’ll let you guess whose is which.
